We’re looking for an experienced help desk analyst who is knowledgeable in a wide range of Microsoft technologies, who understands firewalls and networking, and who takes pride in giving outstanding customer service. If this describes you well, this is a great opportunity for you!
In this job, you be part of a large technical service team supporting a user base of about 3000 people, both headquarters employees and remote affiliates.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing first-level technical support on a wide range of issues and products
- Prioritizing and processing HelpDesk requests
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
Core Strengths

- Capable of accurately and effectively troubleshooting and solving technical problems
- Outstanding communication skills (e.g., phone etiquette, listening skills, and follow-up skills)
- Experience troubleshooting basic-to-advanced Windows 10/11 OS and browser issues
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite 2016, 2019, and Office 365 functionality and troubleshooting techniques for basic connectivity issues
- Experience with advanced Microsoft Outlook functionality and associated protocols for connecting to Microsoft Exchange
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, and domain environments
- Mobile device support experience (e.g., iOS, Android)
- Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues, including network devices such as printers and scanners
Additional Skills and Knowledge
- 3+ years of experience working in a technical support role
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft MD-100, or equivalent technical certification preferred
- Experience with networking hardware and software, such as firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP, and VPN, a plus
- Mac experience a plus (e.g., macOS Ventura and Sonoma)
- Tech services or campus helpdesk experience a plus
This is a hybrid work environment, with an expectation of 3 days per week on site.
