We’re looking for an experienced help desk analyst who is knowledgeable in a wide range of Microsoft technologies, who understands firewalls and networking, and who takes pride in giving outstanding customer service. If this describes you well, this is a great opportunity for you!

In this job, you be part of a large technical service team supporting a user base of about 3000 people, both headquarters employees and remote affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing first-level technical support on a wide range of issues and products
  • Prioritizing and processing HelpDesk requests
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues

  • Capable of accurately and effectively troubleshooting and solving technical problems
  • Outstanding communication skills (e.g., phone etiquette, listening skills, and follow-up skills)
  • Experience troubleshooting basic-to-advanced Windows 10/11 OS and browser issues
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite 2016, 2019, and Office 365 functionality and troubleshooting techniques for basic connectivity issues
  • Experience with advanced Microsoft Outlook functionality and associated protocols for connecting to Microsoft Exchange
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, and domain environments
  • Mobile device support experience (e.g., iOS, Android)
  • Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues, including network devices such as printers and scanners

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • 3+ years of experience working in a technical support role
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft MD-100, or equivalent technical certification preferred
  • Experience with networking hardware and software, such as firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP, and VPN, a plus
  • Mac experience a plus (e.g., macOS Ventura and Sonoma)
  • Tech services or campus helpdesk experience a plus

This is a hybrid work environment, with an expectation of 3 days per week on site.
